Observed annually around the world, International Translation Day recognizes the invaluable contribution of translators, interpreters, localizers, and other language professionals in promoting understanding, facilitating communication, and connecting communities across linguistic and cultural boundaries.

Celebrating EAITA’s 10th Anniversary

This year’s celebration holds special significance as EAITA marks 10 years of advancing the translation and interpreting profession across East Africa and beyond.

The program will feature an inspiring guest speaker, an engaging panel discussion, professional networking, entertainment, and a light dinner beginning at approximately 5:30 p.m.

Attend and Receive a Certificate

Every EAITA member who attends and participates in the event will receive an official Certificate of Participation at the conclusion of the program. The certificate will recognize your professional engagement in International Translation Day 2026 and EAITA’s historic 10th-anniversary celebration—making your attendance a valuable addition to your professional portfolio.

Registration and Dinner Contribution

Participants are required to register in advance. EAITA members are also kindly asked to make the required contribution toward the anniversary dinner to help make the celebration a memorable occasion.
